REDUCED SERVICES DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER


Due to the severe weather we are experiencing - Aldergate Medical Practice will be running a reduced service.  We ask that patients only attend the surgery if absolutely necessary due to safety concerns.

Repeat Prescriptions

Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:

  • In person – drop your repeat slip in to reception having clearly marked the items required.
  • By post – send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
  • Online – you will need to register for Patient Access please contact reception who will advise you or click on the link to patient access above.

We do not accept repeat prescription requests by telephone

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow 48 hours for processing prescriptions and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.(There may be circumstances when the process may be delayed)
